Everyone knows Hope Beel is probably our favorite model on Fitness Gurls. The good thing is she’s your favorite too! The reigning “Physique of the Year” winner is back for our Facetime Series. I love how beautiful and intimate this shoot is. The photographer really captured what a true, stunningly beautiful woman Hope really is. This photoshoot again was taken on a phone by photographer Kate Jensen. Here’s our interview with the incredible Hope Beel.

You’ve been featured in Fitness Gurls Magazine so many times before, but this one was a little different. What’s your favorite thing about your Facetime Photoshoot with Fitness Gurls?
Yes, so honored to be a part of the Fitness Gurls community. It’s amazing how through these times we have all have adapted so well. The FaceTime shoot was actually really fun and effortless because I was in the comfort of my own home. I also learned some new selfie spots thanks to the photographer Kate, lol. Getting someone else’s perspective when it comes to posing, what to wear, and places to shoot has always been fun for me. Kate was so easy to work with and made me feel so comfortable.
Since being on lockdown has your wine drinking or your book reading went up higher?
Haha, is this even a real question. I’m a wino for sure. When it all started I found myself drinking a glass almost every night but quickly toned it down because my fitness goals are more important than my wine lol. But in all seriousness, a glass of wine isn’t going to steer you in the wrong direction and if that’s what makes you feel good, go for it. Now I’m trying to only drink on the weekends. I’m going, to be honest, I haven’t read a book in years but I do want to start back up!
What’s a book or a tv show you can absolutely recommend since we’re all quarantine away?
Oooohhhh, Netflix and chill has been my jam so I can name a million shows. The most recent series I couldn’t stop watching is Animal Kingdom on Amazon. It has 6 seasons so it proves that someone has been watching it. Basically it’s about a dysfunctional family and every episode gets worse and worse. So freaking good, if you haven’t watched it I highly suggest it.
What’s one thing you will down first when you’re allowed to really go outside?
I’m dying to travel, normally I book a trip every 3-4 weeks to give me something to look forward to so being stuck at home for two months straight has been an adjustment. I’m not complaining because I’ve actually enjoyed my home time but really itching for a nice beach vacation. Too bad Texas doesn’t have any beaches, just lakes. I think the Mexican border will open the end of July so as soon as it does I’m booking a trip to Tulum. It’s my all-time favorite travel destination and I’ve been a lot of places. I can’t wait for some fresh seafood and all-around good vibes.
